On 3–4 December 2025, the COCO (Collaboration Compass) consortium gathered in Camerino, Italy, for its first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), hosted by the University of Camerino. The meeting marked the official launch of a shared journey to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions, NGOs, and civil society organisations across Europe.
Over two intensive and inspiring days, we laid the groundwork for key project activities, including Mini-Publics, Reciprocal Mentorships, and the Civic Classroom. These initiatives will support knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, and skills development, all contributing to more impactful cooperation between education and society. The consortium also began shaping the Collaboration Compass, a core project output that will provide practical tools and guidance for sustainable partnerships.
ACEEU played a central role in setting the direction for both innovation and impact within the project. As the lead partner for the Collaboration Compass, ACEEU is driving the transformation of ideas into interactive digital tools.
It also contributes to dissemination and sustainability by shaping the project’s communication strategy and ensuring that results reach and engage a wider audience across Europe. Through its role in quality assurance, ACEEU supports the project in maintaining high standards and delivering meaningful outcomes.
The kick-off meeting set a strong foundation for the months ahead, as partners work together to build lasting bridges between higher education and society.
