On 10 March 2026, the AI Researchers consortium met in Warsaw for its first Transnational Project Meeting and strategic workshop, hosted by the National Information Processing Institute (NIPI). The meeting brought partners together to advance their shared mission of embedding responsible AI literacy in research and doctoral training across European higher education.
Building on ongoing research, partners explored early findings on barriers to AI adoption in academic research and co-designed strategies to support academic supervisors and early-career researchers. A key highlight was the collaborative work on shaping the AI Engagement Framework and AI Readiness Toolkit, which will guide institutions in integrating responsible AI practices.
ACEEU played a central role in driving both quality and visibility across the project. It contributed to the refinement of key outputs, peer review and ensuring that project results reach and engage educators, institutions, and stakeholders across Europe through impactful communication and storytelling.
The meeting highlighted how collaboration across partners is turning ideas into concrete actions for the next phase of the project.
