Digistainability – Second Transnational Project Meeting in Portugal

The Digistainability project team had an incredible two-day meeting on October 1st and 2nd in the beautiful city of Tomar, Portugal, for the Digistainability project filled with both productive sessions and cultural experiences.

During the first Day of the TPM, the team began with a cultural visit, gathering at the statue of Gualdim Pais in Republic Square. From there, enjoyed a guided tour of the Templar Castle and Convent of Christ, setting a historic and inspiring tone for the day.

The meeting sessions at Instituto Politécnico de Tomar commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the agenda by IPT and HETEL. HETEL provided a brief overview of the project's progress, highlighting completed activities and meeting objectives. Following this, IPT presented the outcomes of focus groups and survey analyses, sharing key conclusions that will shape our future efforts. A tour of the IPT campus was both informative and engaging, followed by a presentation on the new digital and sustainability skills framework by IPT. This sparked a lively discussion and valuable feedback from all partners. The day concluded with a summary and closing remarks by HETEL. In the evening, the team gathered for a delightful dinner and cultural moment at Beira Rio Restaurant providing a perfect end to a productive day.

The second day kicked off with Nazaret presenting a comprehensive report on existing curricula in higher VET, university degrees, and postgraduate programs in marketing. This led into a workshop aimed at preparing for WP2.5, where the team focused on identifying gaps in current curricula and proposing modifications based on the new skills framework.

The meeting concluded with a summary of agreed actions and a discussion on the next Transnational Project Meeting, ensuring everyone is aligned and ready for the next steps.

Stay tuned for more updates!
